Farming Is Now Live on Sophon Mainnet!

The time has come.

Farming Phase 2 is now live on Sophon Mainnet. With this shift, participants get to enjoy some added benefits. The rewards system for farming on Sophon has been improved, meaning better outcomes for everyone.

Let’s break it down:

Phase 1 - Ethereum (L1)

During Phase 1, Sophon Points (SPs) were emitted at a fixed rate for each pool. This meant users earned SPs based on their share of the pool, often leading to imbalances - in short, some users could earn significant rewards for a relatively small investment.

Phase 2 - Sophon Mainnet (L2)

In Phase 2, farming is fairer, allowing our network to grow and thrive.

• Fairer Rewards: SP emissions are based on the USD value of deposits, meaning equal opportunities across all pools. A fixed amount of SPs will be emitted per block for the entire farm and distributed according to each pool’s multiplier as well as the user’s USD share.
• Incentives for Liquidity Providers: New pools for LP tokens from SyncSwap offer added rewards, with SPs multiplied by 2x or 3x depending on the pool's exposure (usually stables vs. regular tokens).
• Zero Transaction Fees: With our Paymaster, farming on Sophon will be gasless during the initial phase of our mainnet. All transaction fees will be fully subsidized, meaning users can farm without any added costs.
